Fiber optic joint enclosure is mainly used for protecting the fiber optic junction between two cables and reserves a section of fiber optic for maintenance in the box. The box has good leak-proof, anti-water and damp-proof feature and its power line is corrosion resistant.
There are two types of the junction box, central and terminal one. The central type is used in the central part of the line to protect the two butted cables while the terminal type is used in the end of the line for branching in the cable line or protecting the connection of the fiber optic in the cable and the jumper.
Features
- The enclosure casing is made of quality engineering plastics, and of good performance of anti-erosion against acid and alkali salt, anti-aging, as well as smooth appearance and reliable mechanical structure.
- The mechanical structure is reliable and has the performance of resisting wild environment and intensive climate changes and serious working environment. It can endure harsh conditions such as vibration, impact, tensile, cables distortion and strong temperature change.
- The enclosure is of small volume, big capacity and convenient maintenance.
- The elastic rubber seal rings inside the enclosure are of good sealing, sweat-proof performance, and can be opened after sealing and can be reused.

- Suitable for common fiber cables and ribbon cables
- Suitable for straight - through as well as for branch joints to seal and protect splices, fusion, layout and storage of the fiber cables.
